GENERAL CONFORMITY STATEMENT

Pomegranate certifies that all products Pomegranate has designed, manufactured, and/or supplied to our customers specifically for children twelve years of age and under, including all PomegranateKidsⓇbranded products, arefully compliant with all applicable sections of the CPSIA and the toy safety standard, including but not limited to the following:

15 U.S.C. § 1278a: Ban on Total Lead Content in Excess of 100 ppm in Children’s Products.

16 CFR Part 1303: Ban of Lead-Containing Paint and Certain Consumer Products Bearing Lead-Containing Paint for Toys and Other Articles Intended for Children.

All of Pomegranate’s children’s products are tested for lead content by accredited third-party laboratories as defined in the CPSIA, or fall under an exclusion.Ordinary books and paper-based printed materials are excluded from third-party testing for lead content.Such exclusion by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) was the result of overwhelming evidence of the negligible amount of lead found in ordinary paper, ink, and coatings.The exclusion provision was enacted by Congress in H.R. 2715, P.L. 112-28 (August 12, 2011).

All of Pomegranate’s children’s products comply with the CPSIA phthalate concentration level requirements, and are tested by accredited third-party laboratories as defined in the CPSIA or fall under an exclusion by the CPSC for children’s books and/or publications made with ordinary paper and ink.

Pomegranate’s children’s products all contain tracking information sufficient to identify the manufacturing date and location, pursuant to the provisions of the CPSIA.
