Paul Heussenstamm

Fourth-generation artist Paul Heussenstamm (American, b. 1949) grew up in a home filled with art and books. Conversations about spirituality engaged his family and their guests. Through his studies and travels he witnessed the beauty and diversity of life and the subtle inner unity among all beings. Dozens of trips to Hawaii imprinted on him the lush colors that would later be reflected in his artwork. A surfer since the age of 12, Heussenstamm became a successful businessman and owner of Newport Surf & Sport, a fixture of the California surfing scene. In his midthirties he began to paint. Since then, he has created thousands of unique and spiritual paintings, and the mandala has become his signature motif. Beautiful puzzle!

Definitely the most challenging one so far, instead of weeks to finish, I now estimate months!

We can't disagree, Margaret. Kudos to you for taking it on! Enjoy the ride, and don't forget to look up now and again. :)
